Nigella sativa is the legendary black cumin oil of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs. Cleopatra and Nefertiti valued its properties for beauty, while Hippocrates and Avicenna recognized its strong therapeutic properties. The oil contains more than 100 active ingredients, including the important thymoquinone with proven antioxidant properties. It contributes significantly to good digestion.
