Maca is a medicinal plant from the Peruvian Andes that has been used in traditional medicine for centuries. The maca tuber contains numerous trace elements (iron, calcium, copper, zinc, magnesium, potassium, sodium and iodine), vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E), large amounts of amino acids, as well as glycosides, sterols, tannins, saponins and terpenoids. Maca improves endurance and vitality and supports fertility. It positively influences the hormonal system (source of phytoestrogens).
