ULCEROVET contains the dried leaves of the Maytenus ilicifolia plant. This plant species is native to South America. It is traditionally used to treat stomach ulcers and stomach problems and is rich in flavonoids and triterpenes. These protect the gastric mucosa by reducing gastric acid secretion and stimulating prostaglandin production. In addition, the plant has an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect.

Natural feed to strengthen the gastric mucosa of horses - Maytenus ilicifolia supports the sensitive stomach in horses with its phytotherapeutic and purely herbal properties and natural substances. Maytenus tea helps naturally and effectively with stomach ulcers and stomach problems in horses.

Feeding recommendation: Daily dose for horses 3-6 g. One full measuring spoon corresponds to approx. 3 g. For horses weighing 500 kg or more, we recommend 6 g per day. For ponies and horses weighing less than 400 kg, we recommend approx. 3 g per day. Mix the powder into the feed or pour hot water over it, boil if necessary, and mix it into the feed. For preventive long-term use, the feeding amount can be halved. A time interval must be observed between the use of mucus-forming additives (e.g. linseed gel) and binding additives (e.g. zeolite).
